I'm a Professional Family Celebrant with over 30 years of experience, specialising in non-religious Funeral, Wedding and Baby Naming ceremonies, serving clients right across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, West and North London.
I'm a family man with 3 children and a Cockapoo for company.
I'm married to Elizabeth and we have lived in Hemel Hempstead for almost 20 years. I'm proud to be one of the most experienced Celebrants, in the UK. Spanning over the last four decades, I'm honoured to have been asked to deliver literally hundreds of non-religious Funerals, Couple Celebrations - Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies, Renewal of Vows and Civil Services.
My work as a Celebrant has led me to also take Celebrations of Childhood, such as Baby Naming Ceremonies, whole family celebrations and services of thanksgiving for the birth of a child.
I have somehow found some time to develop a passion for golf, and have even managed to hit a ball on occasions!
I'm a Fellow of The Society of Bereavement Practitioners, have authored courses for The Bereavement Friends Network and am a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants (AOIC).
In addition to being a professional Funeral Celebrant for civil funeral ceremonies, I am a Wedding Celebrant, providing uplifting, personalised and tailored wedding ceremonies, as well as also a Baby Naming Celebrant, creating beautiful, family ceremonies for welcoming your precious little ones into the world.
I am calm, confident and eloquent. I am at ease in all social occasions and find it easy to instigate conversations with new people. I find my friendly disposition enables my clients to feel at ease when meeting me.
Being a celebrant is a deeply personal responsibility and something that I feel genuinely honoured to carry out, for so many people. The client feedback I get is incredibly rewarding, to know i've helped, even in only a small way, to make a very difficult time, that bit easier.
